Based in our Bunbury office including travel to the Collie area, the Mental Health Program Facilitator will promote and enable access to NDIA services and increase social participation and build individual capacity for daily living through appropriate referrals to health and community services, whilst ensuring all work is aligned and compliant to all legislative and contractual requirements and in accordance with Forrest Personnel Policies and Procedures.
To be considered for this role you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in Counselling/Mental Health and/or other relevant qualifications.
- Previous experience in a relevant human services field.
- Sound understanding of the provision of Mental Health Services in WA and of Community Health Services in a broader sense.
- Understanding of Recovery and demonstrated ways of working with individuals who experience mental distress to promote a high expectation of Recovery and facilitate change.
- Strongly demonstrated ability to operate within Organisational guidelines, procedures and policies.
- Previous work with community members in an outreach setting (desirable).
- Highly developed oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced computer skills, with experience in MS Office applications.

- Current Driver’s Licence
- Current Working with Children Check
- National Police Clearance (within the last 3 months)
